Freezer bag recipies
Sarah is always coming up with new and improved recipies. She's really put a lot of effort into her work. She even included my own FBC Seafood Chowder in her book.
The FBC method is great for my lunches and breakfasts. I still like to cook big elaborate dinners on paddling trips. When backpacking, I use the FBC recipies quite a bit.

I've tried it but in a very limited way with store bought items. I've done Ramen Noodles, Cup-o-Soup, Oatmeal, and Hamburger Helper Singles. I've also done some of her recipes though I don't recall what.
I think it is a good system if you are going very lightweight, especially solo. I'd recommend it though I don't use it often. The solo trips I take now are pretty short in duration.

Last summer I did a two week, 100 mile backpacking trip on Isle Royale in Lake Superior. The only meals I packed, besides snacks, were recipes from Freezer Bag Cooking. There was not one night that I was disappointed with my meal.
I HIGHLY recommend that method.

I fed the hamburger/mashed potatoes/brown gravy dish to eight on the last night of a ten day trip. Because it's all dehydrated/dried it weighed almost nothing in my pack and did not take up much space.
