Really enjoyed hearing about your trip. It had relevance since you stayed in the same campsite as us on Tiger Bay. I'm happy you made it to Curtain and Rebecca. We missed doing that. We spoke with a couple Rangers that were heading to the cabin you took pics of. They were coming in to relieve the ones there that we never saw. We saw them at one of the short portages on Nina Moose River coming from EP 16. We must have missed the other two on Agnes where others had said they had their permit's checked there by Rangers. Did you get any visits from the Canada Jays? We had two visit our campfire in the morning. The merganser experience was cool. We enjoyed the loons from that campsite on a couple occations.
Thanks for the report and glad you two had a good time.

I also enjoyed your report and think that merganser photo should be on your wall! One of my favorite areas to read about.

Photo2, I enjoyed your trip report and your pictures. I have done this same trip about 10 times, and I never tire of showing this area off to newcomers. The area has a lot to offer, and I think you saw about all of it. I have caught the rangers at the cabin twice, and have seen a cow and calf moose in their back bay.

WOW - I thought this report had died. Didn't see any new posts, so haven't checked back in a couple of weeks. Thanks to all for the feedback.

jbart - saw lots of jays, didn't see the rangers, but there was fresh wood cut, new windows in the cabin so it's assumed someone had been there within a few days of when we were there. I very much enjoyed the trip to Curtain and Rebecca. Only downside was the trip back - very windy.

Soledad - Thank you for the compliment on the merganser shot. I've been thinking about entering it in a local photo club competition.

Kevlar - I wish we had seen some moose, we did see signs of possible moose beds.

cowdoc - we very much enjoyed the trip. We're glad we had stayed in the same site the entire time we were there.
