Our first trip to the canoe country with Anna included a week's stay at the Little Ollie Cabin at Poplar Creek Guesthouse and B&B on the Gunflint. In the ensuing years we spent three summer weeks as grateful guests of our dear friends Bill (Ho Ho) and David at their place near Ely, and after that we returned to the Gunflint, usually at Rockwood. Many important traditions began to develop throughout those years, and at times we even traveled back and forth from Ely to the Gunflint (or vice versa) to make them happen. This report will highlight some (not all) of them, and will show how our girl has grown in the past ten years.
