Camp Notes: Plenty of room for 5 tents. Great lookout point. Grouse and squirrel families were very friendly.

Camp Notes: How this can be anything less than a 5 I don't know. Large with multiple tent pads. Great kitchen area. Great landing. Great sunset views. Great wind protection. Inhabited by multiple nearly tame grouse. Large site perfect for big groups. No water view from grumper.

Camp Notes: good/excellent fishing to be had very close to a short paddle from this site likely bumps it up to 4 stars-- bushwhack to the next rocky pt to the N and slip bobber or cast into depths. Nice step (but not too step) break.

Camp Notes: Site is overall 3.5 stars IMHO. Water was very high when we arrived so the landing may be better then for just 1 canoe, but we made 2 work. Firepit is silghtly above avg along with seating arrangements. One very large and flat tent pad behind the firepit is excellent but close to the firepit. The other pads are not far away down a trail ,, but quite uneven. No real view of the lake from the main fire pit/camp area do to overgrown vegetation -- but a ginger walk down to the landing area reveals a nice gravel/sand beach for swimming. Bugs can be bad if the wind is not Westerly-- and then getting out in the canoe can be tricky. Overall a very good site that I would stay at again.

Camp Notes: One of my favorite all-time in BWCA. Stayed here two nights over 10 years ago and still remember it fondly. Good fishing all around the island. Beautiful sunsets, plenty of room, nice landing area.
