Camp Notes: Very nice site. Plenty big for our boy scout outing. Fishing was good for smallmouth.

Camp Notes: Great campsite all around! Only negative is we caught zero fish around this site, but honestly I'm not sure that's the campsite's fault. There are two good tent pads, one of which is suitable for a large tent. Adequate shade for the tents and good breeze throughout camp, which was a lifesaver for us during hot and humid weather. Swimming was decent, canoe landings were so-so. Blueberries were abundant on the peninsula- 4 guys picked a full cup (for pancakes) in about 10 minutes. Its very difficult to tell if this campsite is occupied from across the lake, so don't get your hopes up until you get close. The campsite near the portage is a good second choice. You will probably see a fair number of canoes passing through to go down the Moosecamp River to Fourtown.

Camp Notes: We didn't camp this site, only cleaned our fish out here. But it did appear to be a nice spot right next to a great fishing spot.

Camp Notes: Got here just in time for a big storm and the tent seemed somewhat protected. Tried hard to find fish from the shore...nothing. Had the lake all to ourselves though. Good spot.

Camp Notes: We like this camp very much. It seems to not be used very often. There are 2 good tent pads, on 2 different levels of the sight. The canoe landing is OK. We saw 4 moose in the bay on the north side of the peninsula. Great fishing lake. The point of the peninsula is covered with wild blue berries, if Your there in the end of July, or beginning of August. Only drawback, is there are allot of old metal pieces laying all around camp, and the woods, from possibly an old hunting camp. Fire pit is also not the best, but is serves its purpose.

Camp Notes: Nice camp -- two nice tent pads and another marginal one, good shore-fishing opportunities, nice landing area.

Camp Notes: Maps can be a little misleading...campsite is on southeast side of point, not northwest. Lovely site with a large open grassy shelf overlooking the lake and a rocky point a little further out. The open area gets a good breeze which keeps the bugs out, but the fire grate and tent pads are more sheltered from the wind. Woke up to the sound of wolves in the middle of the night.
