This site is your average BWCA campsite. I liked it because it sits up on a small point and you get a great easterly/southern view of the lake. It had a nice firegrate/fire area. It's a pretty rocky/steep face up to the campsite, so it loses a point for that. There weren't tons of great spots for tents, but enough to do the job. You will get occasional motorboats passing through, so you won't have a ton of solitude. Another added bonus is you're really close to the portage to neighboring Dovre Lake -- we didn't camp there, but you'd have that little lake to yourself if you made the trek over. All in all, this is a good site that'll get the job done when passing through.
