Probably my favorite site of my 4 trips. Great south view, protection from wind. Water on both sides, so you could launch from North or South sides. Enough space for 5-6 tents. Nice fire grate set up. Spent 5 days here and loved it. Very small sandy "beach" on east end of site, on a narrow, shallow channel about 6" deep, with a log bridge across it, where I would feel comfortable letting little ones play in the water. Cool, elevated sites on west end facing main lake where as mentioned in previous comments,, you could put several tents, but roots, and not exactly flat. I enjoyed just going up there to feel the breeze, and enjoy the view. Would be perfect for meditation, or yoga if you're into that. I had perfect, warm, calm weather the whole time, which just made it better. Frequently visited by snapping turtles, so if you have a stringer of fish in the water waiting to be cleaned, watch out!

Sprawling island site! The shallow sandy narrows just out of camp provide a nice spot to soak or for the kids to play. Several premium tent pads, take your pick. Also nice that it's kind of off the main travel route. Latrine was kind of out in the open.

Nice open site. Good breeze, but mostly south-facing, so protection from wind. Open pine woods behind site. Room for two tents plus a tarp, or three tents without a tarp. White Pine grove on West end of island could house more tents, if you don't mind roots and slopes...

Great site, offers privacy, decent view to west, 2 tent pads by fire grate, 4 others to west, protected some what from the wind

Huge, sprawling campsite. two nice spots for tents near the fire grate and follow the trail to the west to find a clearing that would house 4 tents easy. from the clearing there is an amazing view of crab lake. about 20' above the water at the clearing. Also nice hammock spots. There is a fiesty squirell there, we named him napolean.
