I got a Fronkey style, bottom entry bugnet for Christmas. I will be using it for my Quetico trip in June.
After setting it up, I am assuming that the bugnet is left over the hammock when you pack it away, but maybe not...
I use an ENO Doublenest, which packs into it's own pocket, which would be a bit difficult with the bugnet wrapped around it.
So, how do you pack and set-up when you arrive at camp?
What goes up first? Tarp or Hammock?
Is the bugnet left over the hammock, or do you pack it separately?
Any issues hanging your underquilt with the bugnet? (I haven't tried yet)
Thanks,
Don

i have a fronkey, with my dutch hammocks. i do not leave the fronkey on the hammock. it only takes a few minutes to set up. i have a separate stuff sack for my fronkey and hammock.
for me if it's not raining the hammock goes up first. the fronkey fit's nicely over my underquilt.

Not familiar with that set up, but with my Hammock Bliss system I would put it in a stuff sack large enough to accommodate both. I have upgraded a lot since then now using an E-vent compression bag for my Warbonnet and underquilt.
The straps go in one end starting at the foot tree. I push the entire system into the bag without anything touching the ground and with the end straps from the head tree going in last. A second set of tree straps is packed separate to assure no tree sap, etc. on the good stuff. I set up in reverse knowing the head is coming out first. Hammock set up first, then tarp, unless raining and then the tarp goes up a bit higher than intended for set up and then adjusted to conditions.
Enjoy your hangs.

My doublenest goes into it's built in pocket. Bug net goes in with it. Ridgeline too. It all doesn't quite fit, but it works.
If it's raining, the tarp goes up first and comes down last. If it's not raining, just reverse the order and tarp goes up last and comes down first.

Just tried it, and, indeed, the bugnet and hammock just fit into the included ENO pocket. The only problem is I used to put my suspension in with the hammock...now that won't fit.
Maybe a small stuff sack or bishop bag is the answer, and cut the pocket and buckle off the ENO. Or buy a Dutchware hammock...

I make my own hammock equipment and have tackled this problem:
Rather than having separate stuff sacks for each piece of gear, I made a bishop bag sized to fit hammock/bugnet/underquilt/and topquilt all at the same time. The quilts are both down and can compress fantastically. The bag lives on one end of the hammock and just slides over everything. Makes set-up and take-down super fast. The back end of the bag has a second little compartment with drawstring closure to store suspension/treestraps in. That way I don't worry about sappy straps being in with the quilts.
The closed up size with 20deg quilts is about 7 inch diameter by 15 inches long. This can fit in a waterproof compression sack to draw it down to about half that size.
In the other photo you can see it deployed over Ensign lake, with the bag at the ready on the end of the hammock.
