I AM USING A OUTFITTER TO GET MY PERMIT CAN I STILL CHECK ON IT OR DOES HE HAVE TO? THANKS FRED

depends whose name is it under. You mayhave to have the outfitter check. Or go to the availability screen at the website for the entry and date you are entering-if their are permits left unused you got yours for sure.

Like Bog said, you can check on in either way if it is under your name. I looked at the availability site, and depending on where you are going in at, and when, there appeared to be many sites around the Ely area available. Good luck in getting your permit, and have a great time...
