Hello, I have an old pair of Tubbs shoes that the rawhide webbing is starting to unravel from the frame. It does not look like there is enough webbing to retie back to the frame. Can I warm the shoe up and safely stretch the rawhide to reattach and then varnish? I really like these shoes and would like to keep them on the trail. Thanks for any tips or advice!
