History like this is really cool, thanks.

I cut some firewood for a elderly lady in Fresno years ago. She told me her family came to our part of Calif. over the Tehachapi Mountains in a covered wagon!! I spent 3 hours there listening to her story.

I enjoy reading stories like this. It reminds of my grandfather that came from Sweden (my mothers father). He would tell of ice skating in the winter to go to and from school. How he came through Ellis Island. He told of seeing cars for the first time. I could listen to him for hours and would be in awe at what he had
all seen change and develope in his lifetime.
