So, I've read the other posts in this forum, and done some research, but still am a bit unclear...

I have a Hennesy, but as I've come to understand, it is not the traditional holes in the end. It actually has 2 webbing loops at the end.

So,
1) to attach whoopie slings to my hammock, do I get just the sling? Or sling, loop, ring? Or something else?

2) is there something magic about the webbing, or can I just grab a beaner and use the webbing that came with my Hennesy?

3) adjustable ridge line? Is it a must have? A nice to have? A "i like it but don't really need it"?

There is nothing magic about the webbing. You can just use a biner. You may consider using a toggle with a marlin spike in the webbing.

3) adjustable ridge line? Is it a must have? A nice to have? A "i like it but don't really need it"?

It is not a must have. It is a nice to have. It allows you to change the banana shape of the hammock to (more or less) for your comfort. You may not change it after you get the length dialed in for your comfort.
