Great report. Sounds close to what I experienced a month ago. Although, our group stopped at Turtle and had great Northern action. I woulda loved to get to Pietro and Gull, but that was a lot of work for a few days worth of traveling. You should feel blessed with that smallie action.

Those rapids from Gabbro to Little Gabbro are shocking, aren't they? Not scary, it's just that you turn the corner and there they are. My friend and I couldn't figure which channel to take so we sent my dad and brother thru the left one. They ran aground so we shot thru the middle.

We came up thru the Isabella River, and saw 5 moose, so i think that's where they're at.

Yeah, we had a fantastic time. I don't know when we'll get a chance to make it back, hopefully in a year or two. I credit the success of our trip to the many tips we gleaned from this site. It's great.
