Good report. My wife and I are making our first trip to the BWCA next week.

Can you tell me where at on Jordan Lake you found the pictographs. We will be in the area and I would like to see them.

Do you realize how many people die each year from running rapids?

Re Running Rapids - Looked like fun to me -

Nice report - how did you get the pictures to position the way you did? Neat trick.

We brought in and used up 15 dozen fatheads and sometimes we caught more than 1 fish on a minnow. We also used white gulp twister tails with some success. We caught quite a few walleyes. Mostly males in the 15-17 inch range.

Lake One. End of discussion.

Paddle to the left, all of Lake One is available, then 2 easy portages and all of Lakes two, Three and Four with no more portages.

Paddle to the right, and 4 easy portages take you down the Kawishiwi River (relatively secluded, even though close to the E.P.). I take my disabled wife to the right from the Lake One landing, we hardly see anyone but the paddling and portaging are easy.
