Spent the whole day skiing around on various lakes, the warm weather and this colder weather has completely destroyed the slush... Finally!

Great skiing conditions, fast and icy. Ice is still not very thick, 12 to 15 inches. U

I went over new years. We made the mistake of taking a "short cut" and got caught in about 4-5 inches of slush. Took three guys to pull out each sled (can you say instant concrete). It was an experience I do not care to repeat anytime soon! We made it out all right but it put a quick end to that days journey (we set up camp as soon as we hit shore to get our clothes dried off).

Scratch that report, we just got a buttload of snow.

More slush is probably on the way, but nothing like earlier.

Well... We had about a week of perfect conditions for lake travel....
