I rock a 10' piece of rope from CCS on each end of the peak. 10' of the same cord on the corners and the doors. You can get fancier, and I have, with self tensioners and shock cord and ridge lines, but I found plain old cord works the best for me. MSR Groundhog stakes is what I nail it down with.
One "fancy" piece of gear I use is a snake skin. Bug netting sewn in a tube with a taper. You can tie up your tarp and leave it in the skins until you want to deploy it. All the rope fits in and it still packs into the sack Brandon sent the SF in.

I have a 25' CCS reflective cord that I use as a ridge line that I put the tarp over.
I have 10' on four corners, and another 5' on one door on each end.
The other two doors I have a chunk of 1/8" shock cord so I can either fold them up and hold the cord with some mitten hooks in front porch mode, or when I have them staked down I have easy entry.
I also carry extra line that I can use to put on the side pull outs when I need it.
I carry 6 MSR Ground Hog stakes and a couple of titanium stakes that I got this spring for $1 each. They come in real handy when the other stake is to big and also work great around tree roots and rocks.

I use orange cord from the end of each ridgeline and the same coming off the corners. All this cord stays with the tarp but I carry two lengths of yellow CCS cord in case I want to use the pullouts. I have shock cord on all four doors (factory).
One thing I may do different is I put both the Blackbird and the superfly (in it's own nylon stuffsack) inside a compression sack. I'm falling in love with compression sacks and just bought another.

I've been thinking about a compression sack for my BB XLC. Its a pretty big bundle, almost 2x the size of the BB. Thanks for the push:). I can't see the superfly getting much smaller, but I might try that too.

I use a compression sack for my BB but use snake skins on my superfly. Snake skins are fast to set up and tear down and they pack between all the round compression sacks. I use a CRL (continuous ridge line) with the tarp attached with prusik knots. When it is time tear down I undo all the tie out lines and slide the shakeskins over the tarp. Then disconnect from one of the trees and fold 6 to 8 inches of the end of the snakeskin over about 3 times and rap the CRL around it then do the other end. All packed ready to go in the bag.

I'm trying "S" clips for the end of my tarp lines this year. they are about an inch long and I will tie the four corner lines to them and then clip to the tarp corners once the ridge lines are set. My ridge lines are tied to each end and will stay with the tarp when packed up. I use a small sack to hold my tarp lines and clothes line.
I'm all set to go now. Wednesday early AM I shove off for 10 days in Quetico. Getting pretty jacked. Forecast looks great too. The bad news is I'm going to the ground this year because my dog is coming along. I did a trial night with her in the tent last week and remember why I hate sleeping on the ground so much. I did not sleep well.

You must really love you dog to give up ten days of good sleep:). No options for her under the hammock?

I used 550 paracord for the main tie off ends, and a bungee cord cut at 6 feet for the corners and bottom tie outs.. I used that for 2 years and have now switched out the bungees to paracord. I found as the bungee reduced the stress on the fly in the wind, it did not help to keep the fly tight enough in a heavy down pour(causing pooling of water). This was discovered this past July on a BWCA trip were we had rain 4 out of 7 days... I luckily had paracord packed and changed it out. problem solved!
I also agree the snakeskins are very handy!

Well, it's the only way my wife would agree to let me take her. I originally wanted to by a doggy tent for her and have her under me but that got nixed. I gave in to keep the peace around here. The thing I'm not keen on is if it's wet there will be a mudfest in our 2-man tent. She likes to cuddle. And I am already having nightmares about her having diarea inside the tent.... Must get back between the trees!

I use four lengths of zing it 6' long for each corner. I leave those tied to the tarp at all times. I also carry two lengths cut to 6' and two lengths cut to 12' incase I decide to use the pullouts on the sides. I use two dutchware stingerz with 12' of zing it spliced onto each one for my ridgeline. On each door I use a 4' length of shockcord with a cord lock. Finally for stakes I carry six titanium ones 6" long. All of this with the tarp weighs 23 ounces.
