What do you cut holes with? I have an 8" mora auger that has either very dull blades or a wuss turning it. I also have an nice long ice chipper that I think would work well. I figure I could also use the chipper to test thickness.

Any suggestion as to where to fish on my way to Johnson Falls next week? Not exactly sure on the route yet but it will be out of E.Bearskin lake. I could also use some ideas for bait as well. I will probably bring in some waxies since the travel easy, but really don't want to haul minnows in water. Maybe some dead minnows cut in half? Will probably have tip-ups out most of them time but would also like to jig a little too. Not sure about bringing my vex out or not. There will be two of us.
