Has anyone picked up new equipment or gadgets over the winter that they are going to try out this season? I just ordered a new tarp/screen house from Mountain Equipment Co-op. Can't wait till that comes to try it out. Looks like just the ticket for buggy nights. I also got one of the GSI woks. It should be fun experimenting with that. I would like to here what some of the other people are going to try out this season.

I have a new MSR simmerlite stove I can't wait to take north. I have used it at home but not in the woods yet.

I installed a couple of Cush BackSaver seatbacks at the end of last year and only got to try them for one short trip so those are pretty much new to me. I also picked up a TNF Roadrunner tent over the winter that I'm itching to try out. My old spinning reel was not doing too well at the end of last year so I may have a little more shopping to do. Anyone have any experience with the Pflueger Presidents?

I bought a very small and compact Primus butane/propane stove, I have tried it out at home & had great luck with it even on a windy day.

I hope to try it out some more this weekend (pray for no rain)

I also bought some fireline for the fishing pole in hopes to prevent the big one getting away!

I am going to take a "Thermacell" personal Mosquito Repellant, a battery operated, butane device that is small and can clip on your belt or sit on a nearby surface to repel mosquitos in a 225 sq. ft. area... about 15 x 15. If it works ,it should make sitting around the camp better in the evenings if there is a fireban, or wet...
