You guys are starting to scare me w/ your Border Crossing stories. I am renting a car to make the trip to Quetico this year....Does anyone know if there are any issues with taking a rental car across the border...or back???

In 2004 I rented a car at Minneapolis airport and crossed the border and back at Grand Portage. I had no problem. I would just make sure it is OK with the rental company.

must have document that says car insurance good in canada, even if rental.
