Nice report, still not home but camped at a Super8 in Tomah. Taking a break from the rain! This trip was more than I bargained for (ambition level), but very happy to have gone along. Yes, I feel it an accomplishment to have gone, and proud to have been invited!
By the way, met QueticoMike and partner at Williams and Hall!

It's nice you did get chances to dry out. Great Swan pictures..beautiful big bird. The bottom pic on day 5 is awesome. Wish you would have included some Agnes pictures after you spoke so highly of the lake. Sorry about the gnats but, it's nice not to have to fight all of the other flying biters. Good job clearing portages!

Nice report. It's funny how the weather can really dictate what kind of trip you'll have. I like william and Hall too. Good pancakes.
You'll have to visit louisa Falls sometime in the summer. The pool is fantastic!

Nice Jan. I agree that it's hard to stay positive in rain...but you said it...two great guys with you keeping your spirits up!
Just think if it wouldn't have rained, you may not have seen Louia Falls rushing like it was!
As I read about Bayley and the wind I made myself laugh. I miss read, quote " its a white knuckle ride across to inlet bay...big rollers and some capping." ...I read crapping NOT capping! LOL

Wow - you guys sure covered a lot of ground. Fun to think of you three out there together... NOT fun to think about everything soaked and wet (except that it wasn't me, ha!).

Great report and pictures. Can't wait to head more or less that way in August! The folks at W&H are great! Did they have the wildrice salad for dinner? And whoever said it earlier, their pancakes are great!
Thanks again for the trip report.
