I have a Hennessy Explorer Deluxe with bottom entry. I have camped a lot last year in a Eureka Chrysalis. I sold the Chrysalis due to weight, size and bulk.
However, I found that in temps down to in the 40's I was fine with a CCF pad as long as I dropped the tent flaps to keep the wind off.
I am going to experiment with the Typhoon rain fly (which has the doors on the front and rear just like a tent), an over cover, and a CCF pad and see how cold I can go.
I suspect the typhoon is similar to any of the other tarps out there with "doors". They do help a lot to keep the wind off you. The temperature inside can be somewhat warmer depending on how windy it is and how low to the ground you have it all set up.
