I've never been to the quetico but am thinking about it this summer. Is it true that it costs $18 US per night? and if so, how do they know how long you are staying? It's not like the US side where you can stay however long you want, with a flat fee?
P.S. This is posted in the trip planning forum as well.
I am going in June... The price is $18 Canadian, plus you need to get a Remote Boarder Permit. Go to this link and you can download the form. I suggest that you talk to an outfitter, the can get the camp permits and help you acquire all the necessary documents to go into Quetico
