I keep hearing about Insula. We are leaving from lake one june 5 and our destination is still not set, how long does it take to get to insula and is the fishing good, as everyone might have seen we are natives to the gunflint trail area enterance and have never went through ely. We are searching for the hot fishing spots and privacy for the camping in the evening. Voyageur says south side of lake three is more private; any other sugguestions or experiences please let me know. thanks

No walleye in Insula? Hmm, I could swear that two years ago when John went out on a canoe trip with Jeff Hway (formerly of Tom & Woods' and Beland's) that they caught lots of walleye there! :-)
