Has anyone thought about doing a group river trip in Ontario?
On my 'list of things to do', I've always wanted to take a 15-30 day trip on one of the major routes. It would be something to go out of Lansdowne House, up to Attawapiskat, and put a big toe in the Hudson Bay!
Actually, I would enjoy an extended canoe river trip most anywhere - U.S. or Canada. However, not one that is so crowded you think you are at Disney Land!
My wife tells me that's crazy talk - until I remind her of my crazy talk (25 years ago) about paddling the boundary waters.

I have a trip planned for 19-24 June and one for 5-10 August.
If I tried to saddle-up with your group, I'd probably have to make other living accommodations!
Still think the river-run idea would be interesting......
