From June 21st until the 28th we will be going from Lake One and out to Snowbank. I have read where Yink has said the smallmouth fishing is great on Snowbank, if so we might stay another night. Can anyone suggest a good campsite on Snowbank. Other lakes we might stay on include Insula, Jordan, and Disappointment if you have any suggestions on those lakes also... Also if there are any sights we might be interested in seeing or other points of interest, please let me know...
Thanks...

The time where I went to snowbank small mouths were everywhere it doesnt really matter which campsites you stay at. During that time smallies were not the only ones going crazy but the black flies were everywhere. The one we stayed at was close to the portage to Boot Lake...last time we were over there the portage to Boot lake was okay but the one to Disappointment was just half done....we had to go all the way back to the portage to Parent Lake and then to Disappointment.

Disappointment Lake was named by someone who didn't want anyone else to fish there! :) (at least that is my theory)
That lake has tons of bass, nice walleyes and on the northern most bay, nice northern pike too.
Try drifting over the ridge in between the two lower islands (check a depth map for the ridge). Great spot to catch smallies!

Thanks for the information I hope to stay a day or two on disappointment. Are there any really good campsites on Disappointment? And I will be taking a depth finder so hopefully I will be able to find the ridge between the Islands. Thanks again...
