HI all,
I am planning a trip for the 3rd week in August. Probably going to BW, but as considering venturing into the Quetico. Am I too late to get a permit?

Not at all, but always get your permits as far ahead of time as possible.

And try to be flexible, no matter what.

call permit reservations and get one NOW! they are going to get harder to get as the season progresses.
