How does one get a PMA permit? Can it be added to a regular permit if I wanted to spend say halve my trip on knife lake and halve my trip on Neglige? Does it cost any additional fees?

And if a region only has one lake, like lake Neglige in region 5 of the Spider Lake PMA, do they only give out 1 permet per day? Its a small lake and sharing it would kinda defeat the purpose.

when you pick up your bwca permit, you just ask about the PMA and they write it in a book. Only one group per PMA section and it is no extra cost.

Can you reserve nights at all our it just first come first serve?

You can reserve all of your dates. Strongly suggest calling the Ranger Station to see if you can get on the books now. The first come first serve bit now seems to include phone calls.
