As a veteran PMA portager do not let that video give you the sense that PMA portages are anything like that. Yes there are some like that but most I have seen are much more difficult than that.
That portage was a walk in the park compared to what I am used to. That was a rather easy to follow trail, few if any dead fall. Little chance of losing the trail, no need to wear gloves, glasses long pants to keep from getting beat up.
I am just trying to make sure no one goes into some of these PMA areas with the idea that the portage trails are anything like that. It is no where near reality of the trails and portages that I have accessed in PMA's and some of the portages that members of this forum have inquired about.

I can only hope that the portages are like that in Mugwump. That said, we have specifically picked some day trips where no one in there right mind would have put in a portage. I am looking forward to the challenge.
