Anyone have a goal of getting to all 12 PMAs? I see this as the BWCAW version of hunting 14ers in Colorado. Mugwump this year will be my first...who has the largest number so far?

I lose. ZERO so far... but this number will be changing as the years roll by :)

Rob and I are going to go into our first PMA this summer. I am looking at this as a marathon. I think I should do my first PMA and then evaluate the experience before committing to all of them. My expectation is that we will have a great trip, but I will let you know on the other 11 in July.

Even more challenging would be to try to camp in every subzone! (each PMA has several, Fungus has 5!)

Yes, we have a goal of visiting all the PMAs. Only been to two so far (& didn't camp at the second, just got there), but we at least want to dip our toes into the water of a lake in each PMA.
