Was thinking of stopping over at Rock Island from Lake 2 for a visit. Is there any good fishing in there?

I was there once a few years ago. Rather shallow lake-we got one small snake of a northern and that was it.

Does not look like it holds much for fish.

It is a nice lake to camp on. Nice former campiste for less than 4 people back in the SE corner. Not too bad a portage to get into the lake. It is a bit of a bushwack, but I have definitely seen worse. Just not sure it has much for fish.
