I was wondering if anyone has been in the tick lake pma or had any info the area,was thinking about a trip into the area but having trouble finding any useful information,thank you.

Believe it or not, the Quiet Journeys website does a pretty good job of searching the threads on this website.

I typed in Tick PMA and got plenty of hits but most of them were from people, like yourself, looking for info rather than people giving info. Hopefully some others here can provide more info.

I'll make a Tick Lake thread with all the background info here in about a month (I'm posting them in order and Tick is #4)

Well, from just glancing at the maps section here, it appears that there are portages there. I didn't see any info on them, so I don't know if they are 'passable' or not.

Tick Lake PMA

I have not been there, but I have dug through a bunch of maps....new and old, and have marked "potential" portages. There are none of the "old" campsites marked like there are in some of the other PMA's. If you have a question on the potential portages, let me know.
