After struggling for years with various tarp designs, my wife and I started using a 19' parawing (currently made by MSR)several years ago. In my opinion, this is the best tarp design yet for ease of setup and strength. The tarp is shaped like a wing with only four tie outs, two high and two low. The design spills rain and wind easily. Two trees, or poles, or combination, are all that is needed to pitch. This is a big plus on many campsites. Worth checking out, if you are as frustrated as we were with the spiderweb of tie outs needed by most tarps. There are fancier "wing" designs, but they also require too many tie outs.
