I am looking for maps of Quetico Park prior to 1928. I am especially interested in the border area between Saganaga and Basswood, Kawnipi Lake and Pickerel Lake.
Just a question why are you so interested? Also my oldest map is a 1967 fisher e-15. That's a great map for old bwca portages. I've only spent about 8 hours in quetico.

I have a 1910 USGS Monograph, The Geology of the Lake Superior Region, C. R. Van Hise & C. K. Leith; map plate VI on page 119 is a beautifully colored geologic map of the Vermilion Iron-Bearing District, dated January 1, 1910; scale 1" = 2 miles; the map is about five feet long by one foot wide. It coveres the area from Lake Vermilion, Ely, Burntside L., Basswood L., Moose L., Snowbank L., and along the border Knife L., the Man Chain, Gull L., Gunflint L., to Saganaga L.
