Do you have an REI where you are from? or a Galyans? Better outdoor store tend to carry it.
You could also go to http://www.msrcorp.com/ and see if there is a dealer in your area.
I am amazed at how little you need to bring along on a trip. And I always seem to bring too much. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Does it have to be MSR brand White gas?? Is there such a thing??? I have always used Coleman White gas and it works in MSR stoves. You can find that at Walmart, Fleet Farm, Galyans, Gander Mountain, Cabellas and many camping and outdoor stores. It comes in gallon metal cans.

I didn't know that Coleman gallon fuel was white gas. I looked and it didn't say that it was. But then again I don't really even know what white gas is. I always though white gas was pretty exspensive and the Coleman stuff is only like 4 bucks. I went to Dick's and that's all they had too, so maybe that's the stuff. I guess I could run down to Galyans and check. MSR does make a white gas because that's what the stove recommends, but they are just saying that.

Depending on the specific stove, many different fuels can be used. The MSR whisperlite says that it is supposed to only be used with white gas. The MSR whisperlite international can use all fuels(white, coleman, unleaded gasoline). I believe that the regular whisperlite stove is the only one that is restricted to white gas, all other MSR models can use the other fuels. So if the model that you have is one of the other ones, I would just suggest using unleaded gas. It is by far the cheapest(at least maybe for a few more days with the gas prices blowing up). I have used a regular whisperlite with unleaded and it has worked just fine. The reason that it suggests white gas is that it burns the cleanest. You can get away with a few trips with unleaded, then just burn a tank of the white to flush out the system. Doing these things will make the stove last a long time.

In addition to the aforementioned resources, most local hardware stores carry white gas or stove fuel. As far as I know, all stove fuel sold in the standard metal boxes is white gas. Some folks may want to make you think that you need a special fuel but in my Whisperlight, I have burnt all kinds of off branded stove fuel with no ill effects.
I would open my phone book and start calling hardware stores. Ask them if they carry white gas. It should not take too long to find someone who carries it.
