Safe Trip
Good expereince for the boys
Some fishing and some success
A Moose!!!!!
Other wildlife
Peace and Solitude and a connection to nature.

It sure does not get any better than that. Even the rain could not make it a bad trip.

I have always said a Bad day in the BDub beats a good day at work any day.

Great report about a great trip. Your certainly right about being uncomfortable sometimes. I think it's interesting how you said that its part of the fun. Now that I think about it...I suppose a perfect experience is a little bit boring. Bring on the rain,waves, and lighning, just remember to be reasonable. Who-hoo!! There is nothing like paddling with a good tail wind if you can handle it. Don't be fooled though, they can be just as dangerous as a head or cross wind. Be careful. Never paddle in lighning.

Sounds like you picked about the right trip duration for both kids and dads. Glad you had a nice trip, hopefully some of the boys will return!
