Are there any licensing or registration requirements if I am taking a canoe into Canada for a trip (not paddling in through the BWCA)? Do I need to bring a copy of the bill of sale?

Nope. Canoes in Canada - at least in Ontario - are not required to be licensed. I've taken numerous canoes across.
