very nice report.

I know what you mean about the group dynamics. I went on a trip with my buddy and his dad a few years back his dad was just over 60 and not really in shape for the trip. We were all ok with carrying a lil heavier load to make it a trip, but my buddy and his dad butted heads alot. Kinda crazy, but it does make you think through a group before you go out into the woods.

first trip report that i can recall thinking "glad i wasn't there". inexperienced, put together group=recipe for disaster. i'd solo first.
