Nice report.

Glad to hear that others have had fun mishaps that landed them in the water.

Mine was when I was stubborn enough to try fishing from the canoe by myself. Of course I didn't sit in the middle. Luckily when I tipped it I was near shore and could stand. My buddies paddled by when I was trying to get all of the water out. What fun.

Can't wait to post my report after my trip in a couple of weeks.

I really liked the report. The pictures were great and helped paint the picture of a truly enjoyable trip.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. I had a funny canoe tipping event on a trip a few years ago. I headed out to a deeper part of Perent Lake from our campsite to fill our water container. My wife was taking video of me, turned away for a moment, and when she looked back, I was gone. I had pulled a little too hard on the now full container and had rolled the canoe. After swimming the swamped canoe in and walking it along the shore to camp, I arrived with a canoe full of water. "Here's your water", I told her. She still gives me a hard time about this and wishes she had kept the video rolling on me while I tipped. I can do without the video evidence, however.
