Sounds like a fantastic trip! I have to wait until July to head back into the woods- starting a new job has left me with little extra time for a few months. So, thanks for letting me enjoy your time alone- nice photos and description.

~On to Fort Chipewyan before the snow flies!

thanks for the report. it reminded me of my first solo trip last year. after a child, same boat, large stones in the front, and you made me feel a little better that i'm not the only one that got the heebie jeebies with a vibrant imagination the first night.
