We're planning to be at Vista Lake near end of July. Our route is from Poplar to Lizz, Caribou, Horseshoe, and then Vista.

I'm looking for a good camp spot for a party of 5 on either Vista or Horseshoe. TIA.

Hey Xman,
I've camped on Vista once.... it was still during my rooky years. If you look at the map, there are two camps on the south end of the lake toward the portage to Misquah. I camped on the south west site. There were others camped on the south east site. They both were nice sites with a lot of rock structure. We caught a good number of walleye right in front of camp in the evening.... vista's a good walleye lake.

Misquah to the south is a neat secluded lake.... if you run into filled up camps.
