I either burn the grounds if I am having a fire or bury the grounds spread out over an area.
It is an organic product which will degrade quickly intot he soil-after all people put it in their mulch. I bury it well away from camp as I am not sure if the aroma would attract bears, but would hate to have a problem for the next camper if it did.
Anyone else hear if bears are attracted by coffee? If so I will only burn or pack out the grounds.

Adam-if I am the only coffe drinker I do the same thing you do. Folgers single tea bag filters and pack em out.

I follow the burn or pack method though I would not shoot anyone for scattering. If we have a fire (which we do about 80% of the time, I will burn them. If not, they go into the garbage bag to carry out.
