Happy December - lakes are freezing and it's cold outside...and that means Name That Lake rides again.

Foul canoeing weather reminds me of this photo; weather was not fit for man nor beast, but dog Cerberus and I were in the thick of it on that day. This photo is during a break in the weather.

Oh, and...we're back in Quetico! (Edit: We're facing SW here...)

With the thread titled, "Name that lake, Number One", I was going to be a smart aleck and guess Lake One. Since it's in Quetico, I have to guess differently.

I'll guess Cirrus.

With the photos presented, that could be Lake Titicaca.

I have double checked and am fairly certain the lake in question is not Titicaca.

Looking NE here...

Looking West.

This lake has two portages.

I've been to lake Titicaca and that's not this lake.

McIntyre.

No idea, I'll guess my namesake, Burke Lake.

Kahshahpiwi . . . . I know that it has more than two portages, I just like to say it.
