Have you spent much time in a mn2?
I have been paddling for 15 years in a mn3. And did one trip in a mn2 . It felt small and slow.

I have not in a MN2. I have another MN3 though we will be keeping, and would be able to choose either one depending on the size or comfort of our trip.

I have paddled a mn3 for 20 years.
We tried a mn2 about 10 years ago.
The mn3 is faster with more room for packs. And you can always take a 3rd person when needed.
And when fishing. There is no fear of the bow person hooking the stern person with the backswing
