i was camped at Echo Lake on the Echo Trail this summer and on the way to Ely
I passed the Norway Trail road. I have been down that a few times and it's a nice forest drive I can make in my car. A new sign said BW EP 10 is six miles.
The road ends at five miles and there is a sign that noting that from there on, its a trail. I walked down that road/trail and you would need a jeep or pickup to drive it.

I had a look at Google Earth and I didn't see anyplace down that road that you could put a canoe in. Hiking trail into the BW? Where the road gets bad, there is a sign and a pull-in for the Norway Hiking Trail that starts just off the Echo Trail.

I believe EP 10 is for overnight hikes on the Norway Trail.

The trail will take you to Trout Lake, but I don’t believe the Norway Trail is an entry point for overnight paddling. It’s a hiking trail/ski trail and that’s it.
