Picking up my permit and heading to Tuscarora this afternoon, then heading in on Brandt for a 2 week loop with my son. Was hoping to do Louse River, but we'll see what the folks at Tuscarora think about water levels. Little sag, Makwa....wherever our hearts and muscles take us.

Was in the area of Malberg last week and water levels were about the same (or slightly higher) than when I did the Louse a couple years ago. You'll be fine. Have a wonderful trip.

I'm back! Didn't do the Louse, looped thru Little Sag, Makwa, Adams, Boulder, ledge and back thru Little Sag. It was awesome! Trip report to come once I have the time to wade thru all the photos.



And yes Boonie, most of this was new country for me.

I’m wondering if Boonie will be coming to MN in September and having his get together… would like to hear your take on your trip… I’ll be back home after Labor Day… enjoying 106 degree weather all week. Then off to visit a friend in sisters Oregon… then to Logan Utah and Ledgefork campgrounds before coming home. So much to do, so little time…
