I had painted this oil painting inspired by Johnson Falls back in August 2020. I was temporarily quarantined during that time and managed to paint it within a couple days and I always thought certain areas were sloppy. Recently, I added a lot more depth and detail and I am quite happy how it turned out. I thought this forum would appreciate the piece and I hope you all have been finding some good inspiration and outdoor time this summer!

I should note this isn't supposed to be exactly how Johnson Falls exists, but it certainly is heavily inspired. While painting, I used a beautiful photo taken by TreeBear for reference from a canoe trip taken together earlier in 2020.
