I am 48 hours away from the smell of the northwoods, the feel of my paddle in the water and the sound of the white-throated sparrows and loons. Time to slow down and smell the roses.

Everybody be safe out there this paddling season and look out for one another!

One week out and I am already about to have kittens. The weather forecast looks amazing.

The white throated Sparrow song brings about a sense of peace and relaxation to me.
