I borrowed someone's 66i last summer for a trip so I think I know fairly well what I'd be getting, but has anyone tried out the 67i? I'm not sure I see an advantage except maybe the multiband GNSS support....and the difference in cost! Thoughts anyone?

Just went through the exact same dilemma. Used my dad's 66 last year, was going to get the 67 myself but ended up getting the Mini 2, and downloaded all the offline maps to Gaia on my Iphone with campsite ratings and portages too. I'm extremely happy with how it is working so far in my test scenarios. I am bringing a 20k mah battery pack too so I can recharge the phone several times if I need to, and of course my headlamps and reading light if I needed to as well.

With all that said, the 67 has an upgraded battery, which when I compared them it was really the only notable difference that I figured I would notice. The Multiband feature I have read shines mostly when you're in urban areas with tall buildings or when you cannot get a clear view of the sky with the device, which in the BWCA is usually not an issue. I guess it depends on what your scope of use is. If it's BWCA only, maybe it's a bit overkill? That's what I ultimately decided. Too many features that I'll never use.
