I normally stay reasonably fit, but about two months ago I had shoulder surgery that had some complications and hand surgery on the same side. I'll be doing rehab only type upper body exercises until Jan 1st, but I can start lower body this next Monday. I'll have to ease back into things. I started Jiu-Jitsu last year, which is as physically strenuous as you want it to be, so I'm going to have to lean on leadership to guide how I handle things when testing the newly repaired shoulder.
As I can get back into the gym, I'm going to focus first on movements that strengthen my shoulder and then overall work on my posterior chain, which for most people, including me, always needs work.
