I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a hammock and seriously considering the Hammock Gear Wanderlust kit. I'm 60 YO, 6' 2" and 210-220# and 80% side/20% back sleeper. I backpack in addition to canoe camping. I'm viewing it as an entry level hammock that I may decide to upgrade later. And, yes, I'm willing to go down that rabbit hole. Has anyone used one and what was your opinion? Ease of set-up, weather tight, durability, bulk in a pack, etc. Thanks
I don't have the Wanderlust kit so I can't speak to that item specifically, but Hammock Gear is a very respected cottage vendor in the hanging world. You may also want to consider the Dutchware Thru-Hiker package.
